ABOUT SOLACE
Real expertise. A real person to call.
Solace was founded to fill a critical gap: when individuals and families face cybersecurity emergencies, or need more advanced protection, there is no one to call. Generic cyber tools only address part of the problem. Tech support doesn't respond to crises. Your IT person isn't trained for complex risks. We are.
Our team brings backgrounds in cybersecurity, law enforcement, and financial services, combined with the discretion and personal attention that our clients expect and deserve.

QUESTIONS
What you need to know
How quickly can Solace respond to a cybersecurity emergency?
Immediately. A cyber expert answers your call directly, not a ticket or a queue, and begins triage on that same call, day or night. In most cases we’re actively containing the situation within the hour. The sooner we’re engaged, the more damage we can limit, so it’s worth calling before you do anything else.
How do I know Solace is legitimate?
A fair question, because the people who prey on hacking victims often pose as the rescue. We’re a registered business with named, credentialed experts you can verify before you engage, and we will never ask you to pay in gift cards, wire money to “unlock” an account, or hand over remote access on the spot. If anyone contacting you does any of that, that’s the scam, not the help. You’re welcome to verify us independently before sharing a single detail.
How much does Solace's emergency cybersecurity service cost?
Concierge response is a premium service and we’re transparent about it: you’ll know the engagement fee before any work begins, with no surprise charges added mid-crisis. The initial call to assess your situation is free, so you understand what’s involved and what it costs before you commit to anything. Call and we’ll walk you through it.
Is everything I share with Solace confidential?
Yes — discretion is central to how we work. We don’t disclose that you’re a client, or any detail of your case, without your consent, except in the rare instances where the law requires it, which we’d discuss with you first. For clients whose privacy is part of what’s at stake, we can structure the engagement specifically to protect it.
Can Solace actually recover my accounts, money, or identity?
Often, yes, and we’ll be straight with you about what’s realistic. We move first to contain the breach and stop further loss, then work to regain access, reverse damage, and restore your identity where it can be done. Some things, certain transferred funds, for instance, can’t always be reversed, but containing the situation and preventing the next loss almost always can. On the first call we’ll tell you what we expect is recoverable.
What happens when I call Solace?
You reach a cyber expert who steadies the situation and runs a rapid assessment: what’s been compromised, what’s still at risk, and what to do in the next few minutes. From there we take over and manage the response end to end, keeping you informed without burdening you with the technical work. You can also call on behalf of a family member or someone you support, we regularly work through an assistant, advisor, or relative.
Will Solace need my passwords or access to my devices?
We work to keep you in control. Where access is needed, we explain exactly why beforehand and guide you through secure steps yourself wherever possible, we don’t demand blanket remote access or your master passwords as a condition of helping. Anyone who does is a warning sign, and we’ll show you the safe way instead.
I was hacked days ago, is it too late to get help?
Rarely. Even after time has passed or a ransom has been paid, there’s usually meaningful action left: shutting down the access still being used against you, limiting further fraud, securing what remains, and documenting everything for your bank, insurer, or law enforcement. Call and we’ll tell you what can still be done, waiting only narrows the options.
